Sorry, I didn't hear about your Covid until just now, Ridgescan, when I just checked this thread. Prayers your way for a full recovery, and glad you made it out of the hospital. Stay safe.

Thank you Boombox and Turbo68-my friends:) At this point, I am over the worst of the physical stuff.
But what I am left with to recover from now, is a fairly serious brain fog. It affects even my most basic daily routines. An indicator of this would be how I finally got around to hitting the "like" button on every response post since I told you guys what happened. I finally did that now.
I know some here think the like button is stupid, but I use it to tell people their post was well-received to my heart. Like a "thank you".
Anyways, I am driving Rosie around for the bank and shopping today for the first time since late December-over three weeks. That Lexus has been sitting without the benefit of a battery maintainer like the other two vehicles are on now. I ordered one for the Lexus-will be here in a week, so all three batteries will be top-notch.
That's it for now-
Frank

Glad to hear you are on the mend, I hope you do not have any long term affects. (I have two friends that have been dealing with issues for over a year.)

Thank you krokus, I surely am on the mend. Going out shopping with Rosie yesterday, while such a simple thing, proved to be a huge step in the right direction and out of this brain fog. By the time we got home, I was amped up and so happy. On the way home, we held hands over the console and she said "I'm so glad we're here together again". Yes, back in the drive seat with my life co-pilot, who I failed to mention, came down sick with that covid pneumonia 4 days before me then I picked it up taking care of her. So she's at the cusp of full recovery just waiting for me to come out of it. And I am now:)

Hello ridgescan.
Earlier in the forum you mentioned that you had a Turbo Scan 800 TS-2 scanner. And it was still working. Congrats!

I am wondering if you still have the manual or other documents that tell one how to operate the TS-2?

I just found one and now I would like to know how to operate. it.
Google has not been any help as it throws up hits but no valid source for the documentation.

IF you do have the manual etc.( or files of it ) is there a way you could scan it or send a file to me.
Or if you know of a valid source to obtain it from ...

Thank you for your response and consideration.

He He,, you'll be back. It gets into the blood. sooner or later ya just get that urge.
I went dark back in the early 80s and now disappointed so much SWL is just gone'
Even set up for digital, I just don't get much compared to old days.
I really miss my R-390,,WJ8711 and twins. Can't put up my T3FD, no antenna farms on the building.
So don't do what I did.
