PS--I use diff software, but, for some reason it let me cut and paste into the cells, trouble is, there were blank characters (spaces) sometimes leading or trailing a freq or TG. Didn't get any error mssgs until I tried to load the scanner. The messages were not at all clear as-to the problem. I only noticed it when I shifted my data to a Courier (fixed width) font and noticed a few of the characters weren't lining up. Removed the spaces and wa-la!

Actually the Software Forum is for solving problems with the various software packages used in the scanner hobby. Problems in our DB are properly mentioned here in the Administrative and Help Forum .

It's a software package, nowhere near off-the-wall, but the error was in the database, not the software reading it.
