Heard Southern France Monday afternoon. Haven't heard them in a long time. Used to hear Ireland to Damascus, Syria in 2000.

Cool. I haven't heard Europe on 10 lately either, but that's usually a morning opening. Did hear that ZL2 beacon the other evening though.

Spain on 10M FM
I have been hearing some really long 10M FM stuff. I have both an FT-857D and a syntor X9000 lowband in my vehicle. I worked a station in Spain on the X9000 today and a station in Santiago Chile last week. It has been a long time since I have seen 29 MHz FM this good. I also keep 29.670 FM europe repeaters in my scan list. I can hear them key up but have yet to make a contact. I was able to work some 29.67 stuff back in 2000. I love being able to use an X9000 for the 10M and am seeing a lot more of them in use.
I turn the FT-857D 10M SSB on and the whole 28.3-28.5 was just slammed full of DX.
