It's not a charger, it's a cable. Most all cables will charge but, obviously, some work better than others. If if works for you, that's great. It certainly looks versatile.

The cable replaces the uniden AC wall wart that comes with the external charger...
Lets me run the external charger from my truck or a powerbank...
