Little confused on the zadig issue. Will the installation file take care of Windows 7 and XP installations. From reading the thread it sounded like may or may not.

I 'think' you always have to do the zadig installation.

I've installed SDRSharp on a lot of computers over the last year or two and never knew it to be any other way.
(But, it would be nice if that were the case. )

The install.bat 'should' download the correct zadig driver for you.
Then install it per the instructions.

The url that you show to get the download don't work

I was one of the many people who struggled with getting the NooElec RTL2832U/R820T getting it to work.
Specifically, getting SDRSharp to enable it as RLT-SDR/ USB Vs RLT-SDR/ TCP. I edited,reinstalled, and struggled. Finally, i went to Nooelec's website, and found the CORRECT install package for this particular dongle. Voila, in less than a minute, i was up and running. I hope this helps anyone in the future.

I really wish it did it would probably solve the problem i have with the nooelec sdr :_(
