Hey folks ~ I have a question about the 1.9 ezscan firmware update.

I believe I've done the update correctly, it does show the new version when I check the 800 menu, but why does the update keep asking me if I want to download it every time I go in to do the library update? Does it stop showing that on it's own at some point?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Go into Updates-configure auto updates and set it however you want. I turn it off until I periodically want to check or hear of a new update. I initiate the data updates too.

Ahh, ok Mark, thank you.

I just wondered because it never continued asking me before when I updated it.

I forgot to add that it shows my current version is the 1.8. Does that change your answer at all or is that still part of the issue?

Try reading from the scanner so the ezscan software gets updated. I think that's how I fixed mine so the software had the current info from the scanner.
Hope this helps.

Yes, plug the scanner into your computer like you're going to update it but read from the scanner so the ezscan software sees that the scanner has the 1.9 firmware. After that ezscan will stop bugging you because it will know you have the latest firmware. In ezscan goto scanner/SD Card, copy configuration from scanner memory/SD Card. and that should do it.

That's what worked for my PSR-800. it was driving me nuts, So hopefully it will help you.
