Hello all ~ Upon receiving my Legacy upgraded psr800 (using the new whistler 1080 ezscan program) I was updating the library DB and attempting to load it to the scanner. I keep getting this error code in a pop-up box: "error copying LDB_0012.004". It goes through a bunch of these before telling me there are too many errors and must start over etc.

Does anyone know what or why this is happening? I'm running windows 10 presently. This also was happening before the upgrade with the gre version software as well.

Thanks for any advice/info.

Reformat the SD card using the EZ Scan and allow it to copy the library and configuration when doing the reformat.

Apparently that worked. Everything re-wrote without an issue. Thanks again!
Great , this are great units DMR is a must if want to receive DMR. Also get a new SAN DISK micro sd card too.

I believe I had this problem before, either way back when I first got my 800 or maybe it was the last time I did an update with my 1095. I usually keep a couple of extra cards on hand as well and I'm pretty sure I've only used san disk, I'll have to make sure though. Thanks again guys.

Yeah, there isn't a lot of DMR where I am but it's nice to have the capability.

Of course this now presents new challenges for figuring out how they work and how to get them programmed... hopefully the library import does all that work for me. ;)

Yes import will do it, for manually adding if it is a single channel select DMR when adding new, if trunked select system type of DMR.

Great info. I appreciate it.
I just selected a couple of DMR talkgroups from a regional system and put them into an already existing/programmed trunk system. Not sure if it will work that way or not. I suppose I should probably make a new DMR system/scanlist for those type frequencies only...

It will not work that way unless they are different sites on the same system, create a new system

Hello, I just got mine back yesterday and had same issues. I re-formated the disk then used the external SD card device to up load, I forgot how much quicker this is and no errors. I'm very impressed with the upgrade, just forgot a lot about the programming process because I had not messed with it for a while. I am fortunate to live in Eastern NC (Onslow County) with no simucast issues. Have fun and enjoy

Hey Joe... sorry, completely off topic... but we're thinking of retiring to NC in the next few years... how's where you live for displaced Northeast Illinois old farts? PM if you want, to not clog up this thread.
