Sounds like farmers branch police are transmitting without encryption ? I've heard several calls on broadcastify calls platform nodes ! What's up with this ?

Or at least the dispatcher is Heard. Wondering how long it's been like this ?

if you are hearing partial encryption rather than full submit an update to the db…
No idea. I don't normally have the PD talkgroups on that system activated, since it's normally full time encrypted.
Addison & Carrollton PD TGIDs are full time encrypted during the few hours I activated those talkgroups.
For both Farmer's Branch, & Coppell, for the past couple of hours, dispatch has been in the clear, though field units are still full time in the dark. I suspect it's an error in the dispatch center, not a change in policy.
I'll leave those talkgroups engaged for now, then check tomorrow morning to see if dispatch stays clear, or reverts to encrypted.
But Coppell has always been in the clear ?
Now I did hear some very brief activity with Addison PD , it sounded like dispatcher and mobile units both were clear then nothing. But I heard this by listening to the nodes on calls platforms/ broadcastify
The nodes haven't been backed up or visited since 5pm yesterday so I can no longer listen. I'm from F.B originally but now live in Galveston.
Hopefully the nodes will be posted again soon , I really enjoyed being able to hear them again , even if is was the dispatcher only , same thing as listening to TXDPS

Sounds like Addison and F.B were involved in a police shooting with a suspect around 1:30 this morning
I'm still hearing Addison PD on the blue highlighted TGs / nodes in the clear , may just be the dispatcher ? Has anyone else heard anything from them or F.B , Carrollton PDs in the clear ?
