But what happens when they all start receiving at the same time? My brain would go into simulcast distortion. I seldom have more than one going. If something sounds interesting I just park my scanner on it. I seldom have more than 1 running.
Set up spatial diversity for the speakers. That lets the brain sort the sources easier.

When I had a ton of scanners, I got to the point I was able to listen to a half dozen of them at once without missing anything. I had a bunch of totally different sounding ones, so I knew which one was talking just by the sound of it. Now two is about as many as I can take at once.

BCD396XT. Sucked on Simulcast or I would have kept it and the 396T. Sold about 5 of my scanners that Simulcast made obsolete and bought another SDS100

"...that's not a Uniden DMA scanner"

That kinda like sayin' "Favorite parent that not a mother or father."

Pro 106. Very flexible to work with and I thought Don Starr's Win500 programming software was decent. The digital audio sounds excellent out of the box too. It's been everywhere with me.

I have an SDS100 and a 996P2, both of them work great on simulcast systems in my area. Tested side by side, receiving the same things at the same times. The 996P2 is better at everything not on P25 digital trunk systems, SDS100 is better when going mobile and listening to the P25 systems.
