Just curious what ur p25 level is set at auto, default or manual

52693 has some crazy constant tone today

There was a lot of radio probs systemwide yesterday. That tone was a mobile unit stuck on emergency yesterday and some today. Lot of radios have had to b reprogrammed already. Think the SO will Jon em on this system cause their radio system is horrible?

p25 radios are what 3k a pop? I don't see county/SO moving over any time soon but we'll see.

got mad at my scanner banks so I spent hours rebuilding my awin files this week and everything's running smoothly now. thats a lot of sites and tg's.

P-25 Phase II capable radios such as the Motorola APX7000 run from 3K to 5K. And if they are going to be jumping onboard, they will need Phase II compliant radios.

I would suggest any of the current digital scanners. BCD996XT, BCD396XT, HomePatrol-1, PSR-500 (Pro-106), PSR-600 (Pro-197), or the PSR-800 (my personal favorite) (Pro-18). The Pro models are the Radio Shack version of the PSR models. Typically the RS models lack a programming cable and AC adapter on handhelds.

Yes, it is a great scanner. I had the PSR500 which is virtually the same inside. Works great on P25. They are on sale at RS for $299 through the 31st. You can typically find them on eBay for $200 used.

I do not know what departments are associated with each talkgroup- I was looking at control channel data only and not listening to the voice traffic.

The few I have been able to figure out so far have been added to the list above. Will try to update the list if/when more can be confirmed.
