Fayetteville SMR System

Anyone heard anything on this system? I have tried the Kinston , Clinton, Warsaw and. Feyetteville freqs and dont even hear CTL on any of the freqs.

the fay smr has changed freq and contrl chnls. at the same time southern pines smr changed freq and cntrl chanls.it is a good bet that the other cities changed to.

what is SMR?

SMR is "Specilized Mobile Radio." Dont tink they are used much anymore. It is like a TRS but is aimed mostly at business users. It allows mobiles to make telephone calls from the mobile. As well as normal radio uses. The system in Warsaw has been online for "many" years (at least 10 yrs). At one time several of the corp owned farms were useing it. Before everyone had cell phones some people used it to make do.
