SDS100/SDS200: Feature Request: Display Customization

I'd like to see further customization available on the SDS100 display.

Specifically, I'd like the ability to change what is displayed in the fields for System Name, Department Name, and Talkgroup/Channel Name. I don't need all three of these showing and would like to be able to display either the Unit ID or the Unit ID Alias in one of these larger, easier to see fields.

Posting in hopes that this feedback makes it to Uniden for possible inclusion in a future firmware update.

I'm sure there is a wide variety of how users would like their displays to be laid out. Some of this is addressed with the Edit>Edit Display feature in Sentinel. So Uniden is trying to be accommodating.

If its a system and its in a Favorite List you created you can change anything you want about anything. Some of the TG names in the data base might as well be in Latin. I changed everything I have in all FLs. Change TGs, System names, Dept names what ever you like

Unfortunately, you can't change the feature he wants changed. Not without completely reworking the entire keyboard and software system of the scanner. Maybe when they produce the SDS175, or 300?

Those buttons are probably just doing those functions and the text are then sent to the display and the function are unrelated to the display. If you have system in another smaller field in the display you would see the hold and any scrolling done there but you could also choose to have it not show at all and the hold button would still work but you would be using it without knowing what you do.

It's a legacy from the HP-1 display layout and are what most people want but there's no technical reason why it can't be made more flexible. Usually you know what system you are listening to so I would also like to have a big font available for the user id.

Still, you can't put uid in where system goes, etc. That's what type of thing op is talking about. I'd love to be able to set something like that too. Be able to set my display even more like actual radio display that what it is now. But anyway.
