165.2375 is Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Before the Coast Guard took over the duties a month or so ago, there was a lot of Customs helo activity on it- callsign "Omaha". They have three repeaters in the area, Baltimore, Tysons and Front Royal I seem to recall. These days it's usually just data being passed.

165.75 is supposedly NTSB.
172.15 should be TSA.
167.925 FEMA EWS Net 4 I hear the same stuff.
164.175 White House notification system

1808-Another radio check on 169.1625 PL103.5 same radio checks as the other channel. He is ends with "Sierra-1 accounted for, radio check complete". Not "Channel4" like I thought I heard before.

On 415.2 I just heard a reference to FOB-4. Google shows:

FOB 4 4401 SUITLAND RD
SUITLAND , MD 20746-4700
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY

It's a GSA building. FOB=Federal Office Building

Earlier there was a reference to Philadelphia Way, that's in Lanham, MD.

Got it figured out for 162.6875 and 169.1625/.165 Another radio check, this time I scanned past the active freq and picked up the same guy on the other freq. 162.6875 is the input freq.

418.8750 very faint analog, RT7 west about Perceville
167.8875 data RT7 west about Leesburg
172.9000 P25 in the clear and encrypted, shows in DB as TSA/Dulles, very good signal on Belmont Ridge Rd and Dulles Greenway

Belmont Ridge and the Greenway is a great area it seems. if you look to the east you can see what looks to be a few miles.

I hear 418.625 DEA channel here in Huntington about a month ago. They was talking about meeting someone at the Huntington Mall parking lot. Also if anyone knows that 163.925 is the only FBI freq in Huntington I heard traffic only for like a second. I wonder if there anymore

hearing traffic right now on 163.100MHz. It is P25 and full strength. sounds like they are working on a transmitter on a tower somewhere. this is in Berkeley Co.

a lot more traffic today. sounds like maintenance of some facility. from listening to them talk, sounds like Mt Weather.

I'll put them in and see if I hear anything. once my 996T gets here, I'm going to have it scan only federal freqs during the day.

just heard digital P25 traffic on 418.625. one site was encrypted and one was not. the one in the clear was so broken it might as well have been encrypted. actually, maybe the other wasn't either.

Just heard more traffic on 165.2375. they mentioned Blue Ridge Outfitters (http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/Blue.Ridge.Outfitters.304-725-3444 , the website listed for the business is not working). also mentioned armory. maybe this is the for the new Customs and Boarder Patrol facility in Harper's Ferry.

168.1500 - a lot more traffic today. sounds like a maintenance dept for a facility. heard one male say he was trying to leave the park. got a PL of 82.5Hz on this today,

165.2375 - just heard more traffic also got a PL of 100Hz. from what I have been reading, Customs uses that PL and that freq.

yeah, I did a search for the forums here and got the same. I think someone listed it on the fed forum as that too. not sure where it's coming from. keep in mind, that federal frequencies can be used by other agencies and not what they are mostly used for.
