As a Hunterdon County resident I appreciate the frequencies not being posted at this time. Not to question the original poter but, at times like this, we cannot be too careful.

I understand, Lakekid. As I said earlier, I'm not questioning your motivation at all. Some of the guys here with database info can probably help after this all calms down. There is still a massive search on for at least one actor.

I was following the "manhunt" (nothing but a BOLO going out on SPEN and repeated on local frequencies) all afternoon and the story was splashed all over the NY and Philly stations at 5:00 so I just don't see how some Hispanic running through the woods with one shoe is going to be carrying a scanner. Come to think of it, if those three had a scanner they wouldn't have driven straight into the trap in the first place. Then too if they had one working brain cell between them they wouldn't have pulled a whole string of bank jobs in the same place. Like Ron White says, "There's just no fixin' stupid."

There's no time like the present, you can shortstop the big mystery by going to East Coast Scanning Resources.

So? And what does that have to do with the FBI? Do you think they're out there beating the bushes when I haven't heard anything for hours? "Massive search" hardly, after the initial play for the cameras they stopped repeating the BOLO and went home. He'll turn up somewhere looking for his shoe but meanwhile nobody's wasting manpower.

I said it once and I'll say it again...sensitive communications should be encrypted. As an avid scanner listener and LEO, if I don't want something to be heard, that O with a / right in the middle works just fine! And then there is NEXTEL....when it has a frigin signal !!!!

Maybe that's how he got caught, carrying all that equipment?
Anyway, the NJSP trunk system was hot all during the evening and night with the search, the guy who said otherwise was just full of you know what.

It seems that I missed all the action on my scanner, since I wasn't around. Anyway, it looks like the DEA freq's were removed from this site. I could've sworn seeing them under the federal database listing for the NYC metro area in the past. Either way, they were all scrambled for the most part if I recall correctly.
