Going through a 780 file from a friend in OKC, and he had the following freqs with the tag "Federal Prison": 406.350, 407.150, 407.950, 408.750 MHz. No talkgroups listed, and he had it set as a Type II - 800 MHz system. I went to the RR database for the information to correct it, you know: base, offset, etc, but I don't find anything for this in the Oklahoma section. Just the Fed. Transfer Center, which has a different set of freqs. Anybody got anything on this?

Well, now that I think about it, I heard through the radio grapevine, that the system was going to switch over to digital. I cannot hear the system from the house, but I can't recall hearing anything on it at all for several weeks.

I wonder if they switched frequencies also. They are federal, after all  .

The old system was pretty easy to figure out, because the control channel rotated through the channels every couple of hours.

Saw the note about the change to digital, but I won't worry about that now, I'm not in range up here in Stillwater. I just wanted to cleanup the file I got. It was a pretty sloppy batch of frequency listings, that was just one flaw I found. After cleaning up the listings, my next step is to regroup the listings in a more useable form. I'm just glad it only has 500 channels instead of a thousand!

Actually, it's from a photog at the OKC TV station I occasionally freelance for. But if you'd like to share what you have, I'd like to take a look at it. ScanControl can handle CSV and WinScan v1.0 and 2.0 files.
