Federal Way House Burn

Hi,
I was out in Federal Way today at a house that my fire class burning down, and three times during the day news helicopters came by and were hovering for awhile. Does anyone know how they knew about the fire, were they just flying by and saw the smoke, or do you think somehow they heard our radio traffic or something? I know for a fact they didnt hear anything being dispatched because we notified ValleyCom about our burn, so they would not dispatch anything from SKFR.

Sometimes people call the (news) stations. I'll bet VC got a fair amount of calls on it too.
