We've rebuilt the Broadcastify Feed Dashboards from the ground up, and a preview is live for testing.

Try it here: Feed Dashboards Dev Preview

The existing production dashboards aren't going anywhere. Both run side by side until the new version is solid and tested.

What's new

  • Modern dark / light theme — same Portal V2 shell as the new Listen pages, with proper mobile support.
  • True stereo support — stereo feeds get separate Left and Right volume sliders; mono feeds get a pan slider.
  • Always-stacked L/R visualizers on every card so you can see signal at a glance.
  • Vox / Scan mode — mute everything except the feed currently transmitting, with a configurable hang time after silence.
  • Per-feed Vox sensitivity — every feed has its own threshold, so loud fire dispatches and quiet rural scanners on the same dashboard can compete fairly.
  • Auto-tune — click one button and the dashboard listens for 60 seconds, then sets a sensible Vox threshold for every feed automatically. Live dB readouts on each card let you fine-tune from there.
  • Drag-and-drop reorder of feeds within a dashboard.
  • Inline rename — give a feed a custom label on your dashboard without changing the public name.
  • Keyboard shortcuts — Space (play/stop all), M (mute all), S (scan toggle), 1–6 (solo), ? (help).
  • Smarter offline handling — offline feeds no longer spam reconnect attempts; deleted feeds show a clear placeholder instead of vanishing.

How to test

  1. Visit Top 6 Feeds
https://www.broadcastify.com/dashboards-dev/
  1. Premium subscribers can build custom dashboards (same as production). Free users see the public Top 6 read-only.
  2. Heads up: Safari on macOS / iOS has a browser-level limitation that disables VU meters and Vox scan. Everything else works there. Chrome and Firefox have full support.

What to report

  • Anything that looks broken or behaves strangely
  • Anything that's confusing or hard to find
  • Things from the legacy /dashboards/ you can't live without
  • Things you wish it did

Reply in this thread, or use the Provide feedback on the new interface pill at the bottom-right of the page (it opens a support ticket).

Thanks

This works great on my Samsung android tablet. On my ipad with ios 26.3.1 it'll will play all the audio from the feeds on my dashboard. But where the VU meters are located on the Samsung, all the feeds on the iPad shows stalled - waiting for stream. Which results in not knowing which feed is active. I did read the heads up for safari/ios users

Can you send me a screenshot of this "stalled" message?

When I first sent you this all six feeds showed the stalled message. Even though I can hear the audio from all six feeds I get no indication as to which one is active .

I was only able to replicate this on a personal dashboard. Neither issue appears on the Top 6 public one.

When turning on Scan, if there is a feed with poor noise floor that is constantly sending audio, the Vox sensitivity doesn't seem to be overriding enough to allow a scan to resume. Used autotune and manually adjusted the dB threshold and it still seemed to hang on the feed with continual audio even when it was below the set levels.

On a private dashboard I am unable to drag the volume or pan sliders. I can click along the bar and it will set, but click and hold drags the entire block as if reorganizing layout. In the Top 6 page, click and drag works as expected. Firefox 150.0.1 64bit on Win11 Pro. Same behavior in Edge Version 147.0.3912.86 (Official build) (64-bit) and Chrome Version 147.0.7727.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)

On IOS, there is no way to determine which feed is active. I'm sorry. The message is clear there.

I'm looking further into the stalled stuff. Stay tuned.

What operating system, OS, browser are you using?

Ok thanks for checking it out. I bought the Samsung tablet just for my broadcastify listening. I knew iOS had limitations as to what was available. Thank again

Everyone,

When reporting a problem with the new Broadcastify Dashboards interface, please provide enough detail for me to reproduce the issue.

Remember, I am not sitting there with you, so I need some background on your setup, including:

* Your operating system
* Your browser and browser version
* The device you are using
* The specific dashboard or page where the issue occurs
* Step-by-step instructions to recreate the problem

Please write the report as if you were talking me through it over the phone and explaining exactly what you clicked, what happened, and what you expected to happen.

Reports like “it doesn’t work” or “the new interface is broken” are not enough for me to troubleshoot. The more detail you provide, the faster I can identify and fix the problem.

Push two fixes which should help. LEME KNOW 😂

1. Vox release hysteresis: SCAN_RELEASE_OFFSET_DB 10 → 3 dB. The 2 s hang and 1.2 s min-hold still prevent flutter on bursty speech, but a noisy feed sitting just below the user's threshold now actually releases instead of monopolizing.

2. Slider drag: SortableJS filter excludes input, button, a, [contenteditable], .feed-title, .vu-meter, .feed-status-bar, .vox-readout from drag
capture, plus preventOnFilter: false so native input events still flow through.

Both of these fixes appear to be working as intended.

The VU meters seem to be lagging behind the audio considerably. W10, Chrome

Also seeing this. Currently on a Version 143.0.7499.147 (Official Build) (32-bit) Chrome system under Windows 11 Enterprise, but it was occurring on all test platforms at home from my reported issues. Maybe 2s delay from the VU meter showing activity before audio starts, and is consistent across all feeds included on a dashboard. This is replicated on personal and on the Top 6 dashboards. Happening in both live play and in scan modes.

I pushed some fixes to hopefully fix the VU meters delay.

How does it look now?
