Feed down notifications

I'm still receiving feed down notifications when I know the feed is up and running.

Today I'm getting email notifications every minute or so.

Any thoughts on this?

The notifications script was rewritten to fix various problems it had and it seems to be working okay for my feed.

I'll let Lindsay know so he can check to see why it is sending you so many notifications. I see your feed did go down earlier this morning around 8:39am which would have resulted in one notification after 15 minutes.

The odd thing about my feed is I have received notifications before that it is down, when I check the actual feed on my end everything is fine but RR show it as offline.

In 3.5 hours I have received 122 feed down notifications.

According to RR my feed is down. My feed is not down.

Feed Notifications appear to have worked perfectly this morning.

Unfortunately my aging PC took a dump in the middle of the night but I had the TXT MSG and e-mail when I woke up and received notification once I restored it.

You set them up on the "Feed Owner Page" for your feed. To get to that page, go to the county your feed is displayed on and then click on the icon on the far-right in the Links column, it looks like a little man wearing blue.

On the Feed Owner Page for your feed, enter the e-mail address for your phone in the "Alternate Notify Email" field, put a check in the "Mobile Device" checkbox, put a check in the checkbox to specify that notifications should also be sent to your alternate address, and then click on the "Change Your Feed" button that is below the big textbox field.

how do you know what the email address for your phone is, sorry not to familiar with all this!
