As of the last few days, most of the listeners to my feed keep getting booted from RR.

My feed is fairly stable except for the occasional power outage that kills the computer. I listen quite often from several computers as do a number of my friends and family.

What I have noticed is that, regardless of what program the listener is using, they are either getting booted or simply not hearing any radio traffic after about an hour of listening.

This is happening when the feed is very stable.

Is this a part of the Brodcastify upgrade stuff coming or is there another problem. I don't believe it (if there is an issue) is with my feed.

I checked your feed and can see that on the 30th (I can't see the stats for earlier days) your feed was going offline and coming back online throughout the day, each time it went offline (due to the connection between your computer and the server receiving the audio being interrupted) everyone that was listening would get booted (due to the way the Icecast server works).

It looks like your feed is stable today, are people still getting disconnected?

It's unrelated to the transition.

Thank you for the reply.

I was unaware that the feed was going down. We have rather cryptic internet here in Wyoming so it doesn't surprise me. It must have been happening quickly or spaced perfectly so as to not be noticed by us.

It seems more stable over the last day.

I will keep an eye.

Thanks,

WM
