I use Winamp as my feed player, as it allows multiple players, assigned to different outputs. It has been excellent for many years, but the last couple of days, none of Broadcastify's feeds will play in any instance of Winamp, in any PC I try to use. Has something changed, or is this just an issue which will be fixed soon? If Winamp is no longer to be supported, is there another player that will do the same job of multiple instances, and control over the outputs? Any help would be appreciated.

I use VLC, it's lightweight and ideal for multiple instances. Are you running the latest version of Winamp on the PCs? Not sure what you mean by "control over the outputs". Are you referring to the ability to create a "playlist" with the different feeds?

I use an 8 channel audio card that allows me to record each player, and Winamp has the ability to configure each player to it's own output channel 1 thru 8. Does VLC have such a feature?

I think the issue is that the m3u files now use HTTPS URLs. I upgraded to Winamp 5.8 and got them working again.

Are there settings in 5.8 that need to be modified? I downloaded & installed 5.8 and still can't connect to the relay.broadcastify server....it just eventually times out.

I got it to work, you have to manually press the PLAY button on Winamp when it opens a new session -it looks like its trying to automatically start, but it isn't.

Has their been any fix for this yet? I read the thread from February but that didn't fix anything. Winamp has latest update on my computer. I don't mind using another program to listen but winamp is the only one with text tags.

The only way I've gotten the feeds to play in WinAmp is to use the play URL drop down and manually type in the feed URL using the following format: http://username:password@audio.broadcastify.com/feedid.mp3 (radio reference user name, password & feed ID). Like others here, upgrading to WinAmp 5.8 does "not" resolve the issue (Win 10).
@blantonl mentioned the gradual transition to HTTPS, yet your posted link is http. Was that intentional?

(edit - oof, month old post. sorry)

Winamp 5.8 does not support https. However, you can bookmark the feed then edit the URL to remove the "s" from https and the stream will open and play normally.
