There are two scanner feeds and several groups streaming from Ferguson. Look at http://www.ustream.tv/ and search the live feeds using the keyword Ferguson. The Ustream Google Play app works well too.

Other areas were streaming in the past few nights. I looked in on New York, southern California and Portland.

History repeats itself. Unfortunately a significant number of people don't remember 1967 and the riots that spread across the country. I was teaching in Trenton at the time things went south. Scary times, indeed.

I was a few blocks away from you on Perry St. at The Trentonian. It got nasty.

Geez. I was on the third floor of a technical school on East State St near the railroad tracks and Rt 1. The mob from Trenton High School passed the building, heading for downtown. As you remember, excepting US 1 through traffic from Morrisville to Lawrenceville, all access roads were blocked for days. Police with guns were on the overpasses. As you say, nasty... and numerous other things.

A subject was arrested for using a modified radio to interfere with police communications in Ferguson Saturday. This is one more protester not showing good judgement and now faces serious charges. Apparently he was transmitting false calls, using vulgarity and keying up to disrupt important communications with 2 radios. Good work to the Police for getting this bozo off the streets.

Now, if the county will continue doing the right thing and make sure he/she is prosecuted to the fullest using the laws available for people that illegally use radios in that manner. Would be a good day for all of us.
