While I know the MURS channels are a free for all these days, I caught on 151.880 a robot voice around 12 AM on Tuesday saying "ZONE 1 ALARM ALERT" and repeating for 3 loops.

I don't see any grandfathered licenses for that frequency here in Portland, but it was an interesting catch.

That narrows it down....I think I might need to do some foxhunting to see who has it. Thanks!

I believe the sending units don't even have external antennas, so it's probably within a couple miles. Best part is when you are right on top of it, it will let you know!

I've got the area narrowed down...its somewhere near the Orenco side of Hillsboro.
