Been trying to find Finderne Fire, understand they went over to the Somerset county system?

Tried scanning the County FD channels after tones went out for Finderne, no luck!

I know that Bridgewater is shaped somewhat weird, but it's seems strange that all of FFD's mutual-aid that surround them is on Region 4...

was at that firehouse in 1982 for a wetdown for their new engine when i was a vol fire fighter ..i think the whole county was on 154.310....great times

Bridgewater is spread out, and as I understand years ago Bridgewater was actually two different towns, Bridgewater and Bridgewater Township. Both were incorporated and made into one not that long ago.

It's funny, your in Bridgewater driving, when you pass thru Raritan and Branchburg than end up back in Bridgewater. Who would have guessed. Try giving that information to a stranger driving thru!

Incorrect. Bridgewater was incorporated as a single township as one of the 104 initial state townships by royal charter in 1798. They've had portions of the township 'chiseled off' to create neighboring jurisdictions...
