When I go to a particular state in the RR Database, I get a "last updated" date that, I assume, is "global" to all data linked to the state (i.e., it is the date of the most recent update to any data linked to the state). If the data is for a particular county (and if I'm lucky enough to catch it within the 24-hour window), then I can see where the update was made (the county is green for 24h).

But if the update is to one of the larger categories (like, for example, under West Virginia, to the state police, highways, EMS, etc.) or to a trunked system, there is no way to tell where the update was made without digging through every area. [For example, under West Virginia, it now says that something was updated today at lunchtime, but I can't find it; none of the counties are green, and I've dug through the other areas to no avail.]

In the counties, the "Last updated" date is clickable, and the link tells me what was updated when. The update date at the statewide level doesn't support that functionality. Is it possible to see an update date somewhere at the statewide level that tells me ALL updates of ALL date linked to the state? Am I missing a link somewhere?

Thanks!

In this particular instance, what was updated was the state/county map on each county. There was no apparent data update, but since this affected every county in the state, the state shows an update.

Lots of the states were being updated with the map, go to any county and notice that the county is shown on the "new" state map on each county page. This will be the case as fast as we can figure the Lat/Lon of the state "corners" and provide them to Lindsay for updates. :)

Thanks.

In the future, if the update is to one of the non-county sections, that currently doesn't get the green highlighting, is there a way to see which section got updated without having to go through every one?

Well, you make a good point. After trying to figure a way to do it, I realize there is no way, so I have submitted a request (through the admin channels) to Lindsay to look into a way of highlighting or flagging such updates.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. :D
