Hello! I live in NW GA and I'm in the process of trying to figure out my county fire departments tones. We have 11 stations. 3 paid and 8 volunteer. I have a BCT15X I connected a jack up to it from my PC, and used audacity to record from there I used a GMRS radio to replay the tones back over my scanner to use the tone out feature to get the tones. I have tried using musical tuner etc but they seem to be very off. Any ideas on a easier more accurate way? I have tried using two tone detect but that seems to be inaccurate as well... one other thing my local department uses a really low tone I think its around 290hz but on audacity or any of the other ways I have tried to decode that tone it never works. Thanks!

Will the Motorla Quick call 2 pager codes work in any city or state ? or are they just for Georgia

Fire and EMS systems throughout the US use QC-II tone systems in addition to Plectron and others.

Specific tone codes are assigned locally, most commonly at the county level.
