This is mostly directed at Upman. Paul is the no-delay bug that occurs under certain circumstances on Uniden scanners while monitoring turnking systems on the list of known issues for the firmware updates? This bug has been inferred in past threads:

In my case, the state has a multi-county / multi-municipality shared standard analog Ma/Com - EDACS system. There is something in the data stream that often causes the scanner not to comply with the programmed delay time.

For example: If a local user finishes transmitting, the scanner switches back to the control channel and normally waits the programmed delay time until resuming ID scan. However for me, if any ID in a state-wide group is transmitting after the scanner switches back to the control channel, the delay is not observed and the scanner immediately begins monitoring the state-wide ID. That behavior constantly interrupts communication exchanges.

If I shut-off the state-wide group, the problem disappears for the most part. At least it becomes survivable. I have observed the problem on multiple nearby sites. It is present on both the BR330T and BCT15. Both with latest firmware and Close Call, Weather, Priority, etc. turned-off.

I'm posting again to ensure this problem is on the list of known issues for the firmware updates in hopes it will be considered and solved.

Thank you, Michael Baxter
