Fleet Map

Hey guys i was wondering does any here have a preset/made Fleet that works well for the Indianapolis Area.

Iam using a pro-2050 i know its not the best but it will trunk these chans.I want to trunk theMeca sys 1 Indianapolis.

MECA is a Motorola Type II system, so you should not need a fleet map. I am not familiar with your scanner, but for most scanners a fleet map is not necessary for a Type II system.

I thought the same but when i turn the trunk on ti just keeps scanning.I reset the whole scanner.I have tried all the preset maps and none work.But when i jusy have it scan the channels they all come and alot of info is on there.But it will not trunk.

For some odd reason they are coming up now.I let it set on over night and the trunk sys works now picking up everything on my 2096 and my 2050.Yeah i thought that the MO type sys didnt need a fleet and i was right but thought i was wrong when nothing was coming in last night it just kept scanning.

That sounds to me like you did not have the control channel programmed in and when it
switched to another frequency you have programmed in, your scanner started tracking it .
Double check the database here that you have all of the frequencies programmed in
and that all are programmed in as Motorola trunked.

Hopefully that will solve it from happening again.
