Hello!

It would appear the Britannia tower has been pretty quiet the last few days. A lot of traffic that I normally hear on Britannia appears to be operating off the Mowat Tower. maybe site work is being done? Anyone else notice this?

I wasn't able to hear anything off Mowat for several days (Friday through to Monday). A signal was there on the control channel frequency but it wouldn't trunk. When I held on it, it wasn't the usual control channel noise at all. Is something similar happening on Britannia now?

It would appear that way. Not sure what's up but the RSSI was also all over the place. 142.9950 was super weak also. There were a couple other frequencies thst were also slightly weaker. Maybe system upgrades on each tower perhaps?

I think you'll find Mowat (40) on 142.680.

The weird CC sound is from the site in what could be called idle mode. Mobiles will not affiliate with it and will roam to the next strongest CC.

Whether it's related or not, I'm hearing operations on 1TAC01 off Britannia. Sounds like the dispatcher giving a return to a unit. Radio ID 24355.

Hearing radio checks from “Toronto engineering” on the Toronto CACC channel today, hearing on the Whitby site (Which regularly gets Toronto CACC I find)
