Florida County "numbering"

Can one of you old timers describe for me the numbering system used for FLorida counties, back when auto plates had numbers for county designations? I think some of these county numbers are still used as a part of some radio IDs..

I sure don't remember them all but 1 was Dade, 2 was Duval, 3 was Hillsborough, 4 was pinellas, 5?,
6 Palm Beach, 7 Orange, 8 Volusia, 10 Broward, 17 Seminole

Seminole still uses 17-1 for sheriff and on up.
