Morning folks,
I took over our communications team for our Search & Rescue Taskforce from a previous specialist in that capacity.
Our radios have the following channels programmed into them. I'm waiting to get a new programming cable to read the frequencies. But the channels are labeled: UCALL 40, UTAC 41, UTAC 42, UTAC 43, and MED 8. (with each channel having a Direct-Channel as well as through Repeater capability).
I'm working on increasing my knowledge in radio communications since as of right now, I'm mostly just I.T., and not Comms.
Is there any documentation (tried googling) on these channels, their uses, and overall technical specifications. We currently use these channels in any deployment we have and are working on getting our repeater up and running to support these frequencies as well.
And I also want to say Thank you to the RR community. The knowledge floating around here is amazing, and its helped me jump into a new capacity on this team in which I had little knowledge, but keep things moving forward in a time of need. You guys are awesome.
