Hi

Are marine related broadcasts (now)
NFM, or still regular FM ?

Exceptions ?

Thanks,
Bob

The VHF marine band is FM (5 kHz deviation).
I don't know what you mean by marine related broadcasts.

If you search the forums you will find several threads about it. Several years ago the ITU published a future narrowband plan and allows countries to use narrowband. As far as I know nobody has done it and I don't think any marine radios (that work only on marine frequencies) are currently being made with narrowband capability.

Bob, just Google VHF Marine frequencies or latest developments on VHF marine frequencies or have any changes been made to the VHF Marine radio frequencies.

You will come up with a wealth of information I think you will enjoy.
