FM Trap for Antenna

I am using a ScannerMaster HPN-30118 87-108 Mhz Trap Filter on one of my antennas...Grove Scanner Beam II into a MCA204M Multicoupler..... & it works like a charm.

My problem is....I need one for my other antenna which is a Diamond 130J discone. Scannermaster no longer has these filters & is not sure if they ever will again. I know of the PAR FM Trap filter that Universal sells.

Is the FM trap that is in the Radio Shack Preamp any good ? # is 15-1113 I think ?

Anyone use one of these units & care to share their experience ?

I just purchased one from www.radiofilters.com . It works well and is priced right. The only problem I had was it took an unusually long time for delivery. I believe it was shipped from germany? Wish I could find one for pager frequencies at that price .

I use the fm trap filter from RS, it works fine. I have used it for 7 or 8 years now. It does a great job.
