Follow that Talkgroup!

Hi all. I'm trying to better understand how (or if) I can follow a talkgroup. For example, while listening to MOCO public safety P25 frequecies when dispacth directs to "respond on 7A1" how can I get onto that talkgroup? I suspect that maybe I need to program a hot key just for that ID? Or am I not thinking about this correctly. I am using the Uniden BCD325P2.

When units respond on that talkgroup, the scanner will stop there if the talkgroup is programmed. Just press HOLD to stay there.

If you programmed the talkgroup into memory, press HOLD, dial in 4000 and press HOLD again
