Hey, so that radio is a bit complicated to program, here's some tipsKenwood TK-5410. I can’t listen to only one talk group but it’s okay because it tells me what talk group someone is transmitting in, good enough for me.
In my experience, the radio will only receive properly IF you put the proper INPUT frequency in DMR, I don't know why this is the case, I just remember that being the case when I programmed that radio. You risk keying up the repeater if you hit the PTT though, so be careful.
If you hear a burst every few seconds on FM mode, that likely means its a CAP+ system, as what you're hearing is the RAS data bursts.
If you want to figure out the CC and TG, you must put in a slot, then put the radio into MONI mode, which should give you any CC/TG activity on that timeslot and frequency combination
