The Fort Lee PD & other borough services may migrate within a 1-3 year window (possibly more) to a new radio system. At the moment, it is known that they are choosing either a Motorola or Harris brand system. There is also a possibility of encryption and/or P25/LTE hybrid radios, budget and other factors permitting. No other details are known at the moment. This information does not come from me, so I am unfortunately unable to answer any questions unless I receive more info.
