Franklin Lakes on BC TRS?

Good evening everyone.

I see Franklin Lakes was added to the BC TRS, and apparently has its own dispatch TG.

I am out of range at my house to confirm if they are active(or simulcasting), can someone please fill me in if this is going to be their next move? As of tonight(6/13), I can confirm they are still on their P25 conventional dispatch channel.

I guess the question is, if they’re moving to the TRS, how long until they move fully, and does their conventional P25 keep a simulcast, or bye bye?

try this 3 weeks ago or so they were on TG 1401 for the day shift

while were wondering whos's next no towns in south Bergen have ever showed up....oh exsept wallington one of the first towns to use the system, and since American Dream mall went up E Rutherford - but bpth onn;y use the system during special events
and how about the Meadowlands FD on state system but may have used the County Common all call ...
this should keep you busy
? how long has the County system been in operation? 10, years or 15 .......or 11.

I caught a couple of transmissions a couple of days ago on Bergen County TRS, 700 Mhz Simulcast. For anyone who monitors their old channels, are they sparsely active? I guess I have to monitor more closely.

AFAIK they are still on their conventional P25 dispatch. I imagine if/when they move, they'll simulcast(they may already be doing it), then eventually completely move. During the week I can listen in and see if they're still on 470.4.

Any updates? Last I heard them on their conventional dispatch was last Monday. I didn’t have a chance to monitor much since then, but anyone have an update?

I heard them on BC TRS today for a good portion of late morning and earlier afternoon on TG1210. I wonder if they finally made the cutover.

Good to know, thanks! On what simulcast? I’m gonna try to set up shop when time allows on the road and try to catch them on BC TRS and see if they’re simulcasting. Unless someone else can confirm what they’re move is 100%.

It was on the 700 Mhz Simulcast. I heard a couple of transmissions just a short time ago.

now they have a Home on TG 1210 PD10

October 26th...I can confirm, As of today's transmissions, they are indeed on the Bergen County system...PD Dispatch 10, TG1210
