Freescan: FreeScan / USB extension cable

Hi all
Im using Freescan with a BCT15X. I have the old short version of the USB 1 cable, and I was wondering if there would be any issue using a USB extension cable with it to program the radio?

Extension cables are generally straight through (as long as you are referring to USB A Male to USB A Female) and should work just fine.
