Need freqs. for counties surrounding Daviess/Owensboro

New to forum. I live in Owensboro, have all the Daviess county frequencies that I need, (to many probably) I am looking for the surrounding counties frequencies, anything related to fire or ems and ema, not interested in pd, yeah you guessed it i am a firefighter. Looking for the frequencies for hancock, ohio, mclean and henderson counties. Need repeater tx/rx, pl's anything, also trying to reprogram my 2-way for any mutual runs with these counties. Thanks for any help, and feel free to ask about any Daviess county, Owensboro frequencies, I feel I have a pretty good grasp on those anyway. -CHRIS

A terrific source for locating licensed radio users is
the FCC Web site:
http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/reports/index.cfm

Right here at RR you can go to the home page and click on the left side of the home page under "RR Database" then click on "KY" then click on each county to get:
Hancock
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=1034
Ohio
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=1080
Mclean
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=1063
Henderson
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=1039

There are pages of great lists there, and they're all here at this great Web site. For those counties not having Fire/EMS channels, the FCC Web site is great for searching for them.

These Web sites are results of a Google search for KY related scanner radio info:

Hi chy1723:
You might try contacting WFIE in Evansville and ask for their scanner person... see if they can help you with confirmed freqs... I am sure if you agree to help them listen in your area they will be more than happy to help you with the freqs...

Well depending on the antenna you should be able to pick Spencer, Warrick, and Vanderburgh Co fire/EMS freqs as well. I can confirm that Vanderburgh 154.220 is used simulcast the TRS here. Also the AMR freqs here are pretty busy. The Warrick Co LTR I have heard Fire on it but mostly PD. if you need any more help from north let me know.

Have you scrubbed your freqs against what is listed in the database? That way everyone can benefit from your information.... thanx, by the way!

also: Welcome to the forum....

If I get more confirmed frequencies than the board has, I will post it and let the board know as well. Thanks all for the help so far.
