It's pretty quiet this morning. Things can pick up, but it's definitely not as busy as a big city.

Just make sure you're monitoring the East Zone (Site 1). If you're monitoring the West Zone (Site 2) you'll miss most of the traffic in Novato, San Rafael and Central Marin.

I'm in the hills in northern Sonoma County with an outdoor antenna and my SDS200 picks up MERA loud and clear, often better than our local analog Public Safety transmissions. You should have no problem listening from Novato.

Just buy a new digital antenna with the in-line flux capacitors.
I got mine at Radio Shack.

Does it still receive NOAA WX?
The recent rains were pretty hard on antennas...inspect the whole system.
Connectors,cable and elements.
How old IS that cable?
