Yaesu: FT-1000 S-Meter light

I have a FT-1000 the s-meter light doesn't work the part number is Q1000039 no longer made any body know of a replacement bulb

I don't have a source for old lights but given the age of your radio, it may be easier to cobble together an alternative (such as one or more LED bulbs) Sometimes it's just easier to "keep up with the times" than to source outdated components.

Have you tried Yaesu Parts in California? I once found a part there for a radio that had been discontinued for over 20 years.

I agree with LED replacements, you can find them packaged with dropping resistors for most voltages and you can also add some color.
