FT 5200 Cross Band Mod

Is there anyone out there that has experience doing the cross band repeat mod on the FT 5200. I have read many posts that are quite old and they don't exactly show the jumper you are supposed to remove. I think I know which one it is. It is so small that with the best magnifier I have almost makes it visable. Is it ok to wick the solder away from the two points where the jumper is located? Any up-to-date help would be greatly appreciated.

It works!!!!

I managed to remove the jumper on pad 17 without a soldering iron. Reassembled the radio and it works quite well. Thanks to those who replied to my original post.
