I have a FTM-300DR. W hen I first got the radio I programmed about 30 or so repeaters into the memory without software. I have since purchased an SD card. I put the card into the radio, formatted the SD card, and then read the radio onto the SD card.
I took the SD card inside downloaded the information to my software (RTsystems) and added several repeaters/channels.
When I put the SD card back in the radio and write to the radio from the SD card none of the new repeaters/channels show up.
Any ideas?

Maybe. The FTM-400XDR has this problem. Don't ask me why but for some reason the radio may not like uploads and downloads from the SD card **IF** the beep sound setting was turned off in settings. This drove me crazy for a while until I stumbled across the glitch on one of the radio forums. Sure enough, uploads and downloads to the SD card worked fine when I turned the beep setting on. Maybe see if that changes anything on the FTM-300. Just a thought.

Also make sure that you have the power off when you insert the SD card. The radio should be powered up with the card already inserted.

My guess is the OP programed one side. If you have the latest firmware for the 300, you should be good. A buddy just purchased one and has zero issues.
