Fugitive Jumpts off Bridge into Tuckahoe River

At 10:30 four police were chasing a fugitive fleeing east on MD328. The fugitive stopped the car on the bridge and jumped into the river. State, Talbot, and Caroline police are currently searching the river.

At 11:25 bloodhound brought in. Police believe they have someone in water under the bridge. Action followed on Upper Maryland Eastern Shore Consortium.

At 12:30 am search called off and bridge reopened. Fugitive not found. DNR boat still searching river.
