funny traffic on RMA 2A

There was a humorous, sometimes frantic sounding female voice broadcasting on RMA 2A periodically throughout the night; I couldn't understand what was being said (too much ebonics), so I called TPD master console around 12:00am and they said they weren't aware of it, but they'd begin monitoring the RMA's. Everytime after that, TPD would ask "unit on Regional Mutual Aid, do you need mutual aid or assistance?". The last time it happened around 5:00am Master Console asked if they "need assistance on how to set their radio to the correct channel". It turns out it was a detention officer at David L Moss.

It was a really slow night at work!

LOL! I heard that traffic last night. I guess some users think they can just talk on whatever channel they desire with out permission. Somehow they always end up on an RMA channel. Ohh well...

Yes, lately it seems that there has been a lot of traffic like this coming out of the Jail, but last I heard it was CCA employees this is a first since TCSO has taken over control.

I am just waiting for someone at the jail to do that on the TRD side A! I bet it would be put to a stop quick! can you say INHIBIT? :lol:
