G-4 TDMA Question

I live in N/W Florida and my county is using the new 700mz Phase 2 trunking. I obtained a price quote from the local shop, who said I would have to pay an additional 100.00 dollars for TDMA. I called another vendor, Rays, who said TDMA now comes standard. Does the local shop have to download the P-2 software? Obviously, I don't want to spend extra money if not needed. Thank you in advance.

The new firmware can be downloaded free by you directly from the Unication website.

do you own the pager? or looking to buy the pager? if your looking to buy buy threw Ray's Pagers..

If your buying a new G4 rays or command comm, in no particulate order, is the way to go for a fair priced G4 unit with P2 already installed. Their both cheaper then scanner master. This I learned the hard way a few months ago. Also if your buying a used preowned G4 you can download the P2 software for free from Unications website.
