hi there guys, where in australia the fuel price here is around $5.00 to $5.15 per gallon or $4.50 us ,our gasoline is in litres here. so i know that 4.5litres of our fuel is equivalent to 1 gallon in your scale so 4 times $1.25 per litre here is $5.00 aus a gallon .thanks dave east coast australia .

mr bushs war in iraQ has done this

hi everyone, just a further comment to gasoline prices .your war munger president george w bush has inflated prices worldwide from this garbage in iraq you call a war.i reckon that saddam hussein should have been left there bcz he could bring this under control .not like its been 4 to 5 years of war in iraq but mr bush has 3000 plus usa soliders blood on his hands ,we look at it this way if the war in iraq didnt start the familys affected by this crap and 9/11 stuff, but the war in iraq shouldnt have happened and the usa ,ok and australia should get the hell out of a war they cannot win .this is coming to be like a mini korea and a vietnam style war as far as alot of people are concerned it should be ended now .thankyou david nsw australia .

Glad your understanding of world politics and market actions are as good and your use of the "shift" and "Sapce" keys.

I am not even sure what you are saying here.

I guess you have not noticed the difference between South Korea and North Korea today, and how it would be if we did not help them?

Of course we could discuss the increased consumption of China and India, but why talk about real issues when you can rant on about topics you don't understand.

I'm afraid I will have to take Njay side on this one... I will tell you this, I am not a G.W. Bush fan and even I can't take a stance on blaming the high cost of fuel on him.

China, India, Germany and Russia are moving like gang busters in there own little industrial revolution. Oh Hell, even Ireland is getting into the race! The fact of the matter is that there are just more people and more of a demand for fuel.

Guess I will have to make another trip to Wichita "listening to my scanner all the way there and back" to check and post gas prices, but since I listened to my scanner this thread will be back on topic. :)

Glad that someone else noticed the "thread drift" problem. Since I have now posted here, I think I will just stay subscribed and keep an eye on those that would rather take it adrift.

Just thankful that I never got rid of our Jetta. My primary vehicle was an 05 Dodge Ram. It now sits in the driveway. The 9 yr old Jetta still gets 30mpg compared to 14 in the truck.

I miss the .65 cent per gallon of gas back in 99. Gas is 2.77 where Im at here in St.Louis. I know some of you are paying way more than that...
