Who is into geocaching ? I have recently starting Geocaching. It fun and I can get some good excerise. I also bring along my scanner and my 2m radio.

For those who do not know what Geocaching is. It is a form of Scavenger Hunting.

I've been geocaching for several years now. For a birthday awhile back I wanted a new gadget (I love gadgets) and a Garmin 60Csx was the thing I fell for. But I needed a justification for it, so I started looking around, and that's how I discovered geocaching.

Most of my caching is in suburban areas, but if I'm going further afield I'll take a GMRS radio - my wife likes to stay in the car and mock me as I get scraped, scratched and stung tromping through the woods. Trying to finish the Illinois All-Country and DeLorme challenges this year.

I have been thinking of doing some geocaching this spring. With a bluetooth reciever and PDA as the GPS device, I can save the whole webpage with the Cache info on it to take into the field. Looks like a great bit of fun and good exercise.
