Georgetown Simulcast - P800

I just lost the Georgetown sites. Motorola techs had been working the past few nights on them, so I assume the rebanding is complete.

So, how does this work now? What do I have add to the control channel to get the proper frequency?

I think you subtract 15.00 MHz from the one or two original control channels and enter it or them into your control channel memory, i.e. 868.425 - 15.00 = 853.425 MHz for example. Try that and see what happens...

Subtracting 15MHz should give you the new control channel frequencies. 868.6875 - 15 = 853.6875.

But you'll also have to enter "custom bandplan" tables to the system for the radio to properly track the site. It's a different procedure for different radios. I've done it on a PRO-106 (using Win500) and a PSR-800 (using EZ Scan Digital). The software offers a fairly easy want to add the table data for rebanded systems.
