Hello All,
I dabbled at one point into radio freqency monitoring a while back. I had a PRO-95 that served me well until it died.

I am thinking of getting either the GRE-300 or a BC346XT. I know radioworld sells the BC346XT. Where can I get a GRE-300?

Thank you!.
So given that the GRE is about $50 less than the Uniden, is it worth it?

Depends where you are and what you want to listen to.

The 346 is analogue only, there are some important things to scan that are digital and in the clear in Ontario. The OPP, Mto enforcement and NMResources are a few examples of P25 Digital comms on the Bell Fleetnet system.

go with digital and avoid radio world.. they are extremely expensive. I will sell you a digital scanner (PRO 106) same as GRE500 for $380 local here in Toronto area.
