Those of you that are heavily into HF maritime on the digital side may be interested to know that Ian Wraith's program (Rivet) has been slowly but surely digging into the packets and identifying things like the ships MMSI, among other things. I would caution that this is fairly technical in nature, but it might be good info for those folks that like to dig into the bits and bytes of a digital signal
Rivet can be found as a link on the 'Soundcard Digital Decoders' section of the webpage on my sig - and note that he has some sound samples and has even started a wiki on Rivet (the links are at the bottom of the page).
